Spectacular views of the Greek Argo Saronic Gulf, overlooking the harbour of Hydra Island Greece. Ten minute walk from the harbor with only one set of steps to negotiate of the main street from town. Plumbago House is built on two levels. The house can be approached from the back or the front of the property depending upon the route taken. The upper level consisting of the living room with sitting area focusing on the log burning fireplace (excellent during the winter months), dining area and doors to balcony overlooking terrace and pool, two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. The house is plenty of comfortable furniture, has stone flooring and is very light. There's plenty of space to store your holiday, games, books, etc. From the rear of the property steps lead up to the roof terrace, which has a small retaining wall and parents might want to ban small children from this area to avoid accidents. The views from this terrace are quite spectacular. The kitchen is compact with a full size electric oven, grill, 4 ring hob and extractor fan, larder fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The house is also fitted with washing machine, TV and CD player. The bedrooms are cool with wood ceiling and stone floors. They are furnished with a large wardrobe and cupboard space. The twin bedroom is at the back of the house. There is also an air-conditioning/heating unit. On the lower floor there is another (2nd) double bedroom with double bed, which has been hewn out of the rock. This is a particularly cool room with plenty of cupboard space. This is a handy room as it's slightly removed from the rest of the house and can be accessed from the front entrance to the property, for families travelling with grandparents who prefer to have a little bit of space to themselves! This room looks out over the lower terrace. The bathroom on the main floor is fitted with a bath and shower.
